Good track! Downloaded a while ago but just came back to it.
I must say I Love the original! One of the first records bought in my collection.
At first I wasn't sure whether I liked that stabby synth part at the beginning and middle section on your version, but I feel an intended cheesy-ness factor which is growing on me.
Sound selection is spot on. Tight mixdown! Lovely pianos at 3:00, too.
