I'd say i'm not aware too much of the sound of modern hardcore since 2008.
however i've heard the odd track or two from mainly the older names in the genre releasing new stuff.
Hopefully it's drifted away from that last commercial era push

I am thinking it will be mostly Happy Hardstyle type stuff which Hixxy plays these days. Nothing like 2008. He is a big fan of the OneSeventy label.

If it's not 170-180 BPM, I will be disappointed.
160 BPM tracks are stepping outside of the hardcore genre at that point.
