Pretty good summary tbh. Hardcore was too clean from around 2000 onwards. At least then the UK Hardcore sound was fresh, so it was good, but it was far too "clean" sounding.
Give me fked up noisey hoovers , loads of acid lines, mega rich pianos and AKAI chopped loops. :)
