Freeform mixed with DnB is my best description of it

Lots of acid synths and bass.

Love it, honestly.

I love Dimension, but I'm not too big on that.

Cool though, and I hope we see more cross over stuff!

The acid definitely makes it listenable... it's growing on me

That's not bad at all, would much rather have more of this than the hardstyle crossover tripe!

In the absence of any decent hardcore I've been listening to a lot of Hybrid minds.

It didn't seem to be well received when people like breeze tried aligning hardcore and dnb again... But maybe now that dnb has a million sub genres, something might emerge that has more of a hardcore edge.

I think what Breeze was trying to do was more a fusion of dubstep with hardcore, which in a lot of people's view just didn't work. The line between "breakbeat hardcore" and DnB was already incredibly blurry, just compare some of the stuff that Danny Byrd was putting out a few years back with CLSM/Fracus & Darwin breakbeat tracks. I've always loved the trancy sounds alongside breaks that CLSM were doing, it's just a shame that it never massively took off.

It'd be pretty hilarious if a "4/4 kick" subgenre of DnB emerged and got bigger than the current hardcore scene though...

Don't really know where I stand on that track tbh.

I don't love it, but I don't dislike it.

I don't recall Breeze trying to align DnB and HC, he did try to fuse it with dubstep though. The occasional track has had some DnB elements into it but I always thought those parts sounded quite crude (talking Breeze, Hixxy, etc).

Interesting, I quite like it, seems to be the start of a new crossover trend again then as Netsky recently did this with Darren Styles

Yeah the Dimension track does sound interesting - the acid synths work well in the DnB bits.

that has to be one of the worst things I've ever heard from either of them. A collab about 15 years too late.

Yeah I can't make up my mind whether its alright or just plain awful, shame because with the quality of both their productions I expected something a bit better than that, perhaps my expectations were too high lol.
