Always wondered. Can?t imagine they could just live off the music given the size of the scene these days.

So Breeze, Squad-E, Stonebank, Ham, Hixxy, etc. Do they have a other jobs too?

Def wont be making any money at the moment. I wonder how the hardcore scene, or whats left of it, will be affected in the long run by coronavirus? Live events will be some way off yet. Having said that, it wouldnt have been too hard to do social distancing at the last few raves I went to.

To answer your question, yes many of them have other business interests away from music. Squad-e for example is a full time lunatic and Hixxy is a food critic.

Squad-E is most likely a pensioner already. I doubt he could hold a job for long anyways.

I thought hixxy still dealt with real estate... or did you make a pizza joke that flew past my head? :P

I don't imagine that anyone has made money since 2012 when during a declining period the big names decided to save the scene by driving it off a cliff and alienating all that was left at the time.

I feel like S3RL might be able to live off of Hardcore

Well depends on how you use the opportunities you get. You'll likely not make much if anything at all solely with hardcore. That being said it can definitely be a part in a bigger picture. It's definitely one thing in the UK but in some other countries it's like hardcore hasn't even started yet.

Most artists have full time jobs, for example even when sy and unknown were producing for quosh they both had other work, Chris was a physio therapist and sy was in the building trade.

Ramos runs an electrical shop.

So pretty sure the majority of people have full time jobs,

Think Darren styles is possibly the only current person who makes hardcore that gets his income just from music,

S3RL is actually an outsider, doesn't have anything to do with this so-called hardcore "scene". He made his audience on his own after Kevin Energy and Sharkey decided to call it quits.
