Which version of Shining Down does anyone think is best? Original, Brisk remix, Slipmatt remix
Probably the Slipmatt remix. I do like the original and Brisk remixes, though.
Yes you're right. First version of the track heard was the Brisk mix which always liked and still do. Like the original also but think Slipmatt's remix is even better! Melody sound at 2m 45 - love it.

The original of Shining Down is my personal favourite.
I prefer the unreleased dubplate of Heart of Gold to, to the one everyone knows.
It's alright. Either Jon Doe remix or the version from the United Dance album for me.
I just remember when the dubplate got played at Kinetic, only time i've heard Connie totally lose it. Slipmatt , of course, I think, was the first to drop it. And got a rewind. I was rushing like **** when I heard that tape, when it was released, and heard the dubplate myself live, was a fking mega rush, cos it was pure banging.
Listen at 23.15 , and that was Kinetic's normal speed :) Just fking banging.

Aye. Kinetic used to have the deck pitch altered. Those sets were fast.
