Hi guys, really sorry if this is in the wrong place (and doubly sorry if someone else mentioned it) ... I totally forgot to post in here and I'm not connected with everyone on social media. 'Stargazer' got picked up by KFA and put out on vinyl recently. There's currently only 5 copies left that I'm aware of. There's a bunch of excellent remixes (only available with the vinyl purchase). Full details and track previews here:https://kniteforce.bandcamp.com/album/kfa105-entity-stargazer-kfa-remixes-ep Lot of music for quite possibly less than you were expecting :) Much love, Clive.

Why is the digital a thousand pounds?
I would pay a sensible price but this makes Ham, Vibes & Seduction look like Poundland in comparison

It details this on the store:
"You can download the digital files directly from Bandcamp once you have bought the vinyl.
The structure of Bandcamp forces ALL physical media to have digital files for sale. It is the way the site is structured.
But we do not sell digital files except for with the vinyl.
To get around this we price the digital files at ?1000.
We are well aware that this is a bit daft, but it is what it is."

****... and here I really wanted to buy the Audio X remix, and I'm not interested in the vinyl, nor the other tracks :(
For someone saying he's not in it for the money, LunaC has some weird ideas getting the music out...

I totally agree with how they're releasing stuff.
Sometimes I buy, and get stuff I never knew I wanted. Sometimes I don't and miss out on things. Never lose any sleep over it either way.

This morning when I saw this and the ?1000 for the digital without a poor sounding piece of plastic that I can't use, I was going to have a massive rant about how this isn't helping Hardcore at all and how this stinks of an out of touch label who doesn't understand how younger DJ's get their music.
However
I just decided not to buy it instead and not to waste my energy.
Goodnight!

Correct me if I?m wrong, but I?m pretty sure you can buy the digital versions elsewhere, e.g. Juno Download, just not on their Bandcamp for some silly reason. It?s not like they are completely withholding them from sale:
https://www.junodownload.com/products/entity-stargazer-the-kfa-mixes/4396025-02/ Does anyone know if the ?CDs? they sell are actually still just CDRs? A few of the earlier KFA releases I bought on CD are now completely unreadable and I?m wary of buying anything from them now.

The forced vinyl purchase is a baffling model I could never get behind. I'm not huge fan of this one so it doesn't really affect me.
I guess you could get the digital files alone if you don't mind paying 1000 pounds.

Me: "Lot of music for quite possibly less than you were expecting.."
Le sigh :(
Nobody was asking for a grand.

nice to see it on juno (and not just beatport or apple). But some people always swears by bandcamp being good for indies, and then I hear people say they ask for just the same amount of money as other storefronts.

There's regular, brilliant music being released.
And it does find its way onto other stores.
Stop whining.

The difference between this release and the others is this one includes the Reese remix. I?m annoyed at the attempt to force a vinyl purchase. The release date for the vinyl release is more than a month before the digital release. That would of meant people would of brought the vinyl even if they only wanted the digital because there was no other way to get it at the time.
Like these people did
https://www.discogs.com/sell/release/14542447?ev=rb Especially because the page says quote: You cannot buy JUST the digital files. Well, you can, but it will cost ?1000.00 so...yeah.
Perhaps it should of said. There will be a digital release on all major download stores to follow. Anyway at least it?s available to buy on other stores now but without the Reese remix. Is that available digitally?

Yeah, it'll cost you a grand though :D
Or buy the vinyl and flog it on Discogs like those other folks you pointed out are doing.
If you are in the UK is works out at less than 2 squid a track
