Yes. He's bought every available copy cheap and now he's waiting until the demand for shit, slow, trancey rip-off Hardcore goes through the roof to sell them on at silly prices.

WTF was all that about ?
Bonkers 7 was utter shit, in fact , most Bonkers was ****ing awful. Bonkers 1 was about the only one I enjoyed, and that's before Sharkey started making that trancey shit sound and then fat **** hixxy followed him. So they brought Dougal in to appease the happy lovers, and the music had gone utter gash then anyway, so they bring in Mr Brown to appease the harder crown and he played very little.
Fk bonkers.

Sounds like something that only Boris Johnson could pull off!
Although no doubt that Farage would claim that he thought of it first as he has been 'supporting Bonkers 7 since back in '99'

The idea to get every Bonkers will be impossible due to this.
Thanks Triquatra.

Excellent video Bonkers 7 was much maligned, think I've done a few rants along the lines of the ones in the video to people who cared equally little...
Look forward to the album; listened to a few of the tracks you posted and you've managed to nail the Bonkers 7 style sound! From a production point of view, are you using many samples or is it mainly synthesized sounds? I don't know what UFO & Hixxy would've had in the studio at that point?

same as most, really; all the percussion is samples. Sourcing from really basic 909 kits and then a bunch of claps and kicks that sound close to what they were using.
Practically all the melody synths are in Sylenth1 and on the odd occasion two old VSTs which have some nice vintagey 90s sounds; Hypersonic and Xphrase.
I try and stear clear of Nexus, but theres a string pad I've used a couple of times which is a nice one.
When the album and tracks are released the final thing I'll do is put up a Bee Trax Sylenth1 soundbank, free of course, with all of the presets I used/made along with the small sample pack of the percussion.

Maybe not just a rant about Bonkers tbh, more a rant of what availible CD's there were back in the day, there was a distinct lack of quality tbh, some DJ's insisted on releasing mixes with piss poor track choices, which were NOT popular at the time, but then occasionally there would be a lesser known release that was unreal, like DJ's Take Control the Slipmatt CD was off the charts (Bare in mind this was 95 or 96) Big Nasty Dragon in the techno world were awesome releases, The United Dance ones were awesome for the first 5 releases, then went tits up. Hardcore Heaven (The oriignal ones) weren't much cop tbh. Tape packs were still way more popular back then tbh.
