Does anyone know who were the first peole to use MIDI and sequencing as I need it for an assignment. Any websites detailing to founders of sequencing would be most appreciative.

Before MIDI there was something called CV gates, I only know this because my TB303 has this insteed of MIDI... Perhaps Roland invented it? sorry... not sure myself.
