On Friday 19th May 2000, Elation was born in the railway arches of south London and quickly
became established as an essential date on any raver's calendar. With an atmosphere unrivalled and a
commitment to pushing the best and most forward-thinking artists, not just the biggest tried-and-tested
names, Elation became recognised as an event where quality beats and nutty antics combined to create the
ultimate 'family' rave vibe.
Step forward to 2015 and we return from hiatus to dazzle the senses once more with a night of Hardcore
classics, past and present, as we invite you to join us in celebrating 15 years of Elation!
DJs:
GAMMER
The UKs #1 Hardcore DJ, multi award winner and jet-setting superstar touching down for an hour of classics.
Expect the unexpected as we've given Gammer an 'anything goes' policy. This will be large!
DJ SY
The legendary scratchmaster extraordinairre needs no introduction, having torn apart raves up and down the
UK over the past 2 decades, as well as being responsible for huge dancefloor slammers like 'Devotion' and
'Sensation'. Get ready for a return to the 90s as Sy lays down the anthems!
CLSM
Without question one of Hardcore music's true innovators, reknowned for their wackiness, weirdness and
amazing sound. Join the enigmatic Ned and co. as they take you back through the history of CLSM!
PONDER & HB
The original Elation gruesome twosome re-unite again for a devastating set of mid-90s classics. Expect rolling
breaks, stomping kicks and plenty of hands-in-the-air piano moments!
UPLIFT
One of the south-east's finest, and owner of much loved record label 'Raw Elements'. Uplift will have us
reliving the big room UK Hardcore sounds of 2000-2005.
WIZBIT
An Elation favourite, known for his tearing beats and basslines! Wizbit is going to be delving through the
Breakbeat Hardcore and DnB tracks that have smashed the Elation dancefloors in the past and combining
them in to one awe-inspiring set!
CAINE
Resident Freeform specialist, Caine, heads back to the late 90s and early 2000s for a journey through some
of the most innovative and groundbreaking acid-tastic smashers of that era.

The Basement is located in the heart of Southend-On-Sea, 4 minutes walk from Southend Central station and
just a few minutes from the A127 by car. Parking is available on Royal Mews and Clarence Road. Trains start
from Southend Cental at 4.15am on Saturday morning.

It is with regret that for reasons beyond our control 'Elation - The 15th Birthday' will no longer be going ahead. Unfortunately, the company leasing the venue that we hired through have 'moved on' without passing any booking information on to the current club management. Despite working to secure an alternative venue for the same date, we've ultimately been unsuccessful.
We can only apologize to those of you who've made travel plans, booked hotels etc, to the artists who were booked and looking forward to rocking our awesome crowd! Believe me when I say that nobody is more gutted about this than Caine and I are.
For anybody that's bought tickets, The TicketSellers will be sending you an email informing you of how you can be refunded.
We're going to take a couple of weeks to let the dust settle, but as painful as this is, we're determined that it won't be the last of Elation.
