Events Table of Contents

Where is the events section?
The full event system can be found by clicking events in the top white navigation bar.

The top page of HappyHardcore.com also has a short summary of events coming up and just past in the next or past 30 days from the current date.

What information do I need to add an event?
1. Event name.
2. Venue and possibly details on how to get there.
3. Cost of entry.
4. Age range (if nessessary).
5. DJ's and artists playing.
6. Date of event.

I am tring to add an event but can not enter the start date
Due to international standards on how the date is formatted and to avoid confusion we have implemented a DHTML calendar popup in which you can select the date by clicking it. To pull up the date calendar you need to press icon next to the start date.

This button will not appear when you have already selected from the calendar the date you wish to add the event to.

Why does the artist linking not work for private events?
If an event is private and you are the only person that can see it it does not make scene to link to an event from the artist page that only one person can see.

Private / Public events
HappyHardcore.com runs a public and private event system.

A private event is something only your account can see when you are logged in and no one else. An example of a private event is your friends house party or your grandmothers birthday, you can use this private event system for all your personal events with the safety that no one else will be able to read them.

An event that is not private (public event) is something everyone can see on everyone's calendar including users that are not logged in. As a regular member you will not be able to directly add non private events to the calendar system but your event will be entered into a holding / approval area where a moderator of HappyHardcore.com will review your event and post it if relevant.
You will receive full credit for posting the event if added!

Note: Once selected private or public event you can not change it again. Once an event is submitted as a public event it is not automatically added as your own private event. If an event is deemed not relevant it will be discarded, it will not be sent back to you nor added as your own private event.

You are free to edit and delete private events once created.

I posted an event but I don't see it
You will not see non public events until they are approved by a HappyHardcore.com moderator. This normally takes 2-3 days.

I waited 2-3 days but still don't see my event
If you still do not see your event after 2-3 days one of the following has likely occurred:

1. The event is not a public party / event where the general public is allowed entry.
2. The event is already in events.
3. Is not a hardcore event or does not feature at least one hardcore DJ. For ways to post your non-hardcore event refer to I want to post my non hardcore event.
4. Old event / the event has already past.

All events not approved will be permanently deleted without notification. You are free to re-add the event as a private event.

I want to post my non hardcore event
As HappyHardcore.com is a hardcore site we only post events that contain some sort of hardcore music in them for free. If you still wish to promote your non hardcore event you will have to pay a small listing fee or you might consider taking advertising space on HappyHardcore.com.

For further advertising details contact [email protected]

I can not wait 2-3 days the event is tomorrow!
You should have posted the event earlier. It is recommend you post the event 4 weeks in advance.

I am going a regular event do I have to post them all?
In short yes, there is no way for HappyHardcore.com to be able to check every party if it is still regular or operating, please post a separate event for every day the event is on.

I posted an event but I did not get credit for it
The first person to post the complete event details will recieve the credit for posting the event, another person may have posted the same event before you had.

I can't post or find the option to post in the event forum
In April 2003 HappyHardcore.com changed the way we input events to make it easy for people to find events and open the events up to further expansion. You can no longer directly post new events or topics in the events section, you have to submit your event using the event add system, if approved the event will be posted in the forum automatically under your member name so people can reply and comment on the event.

I did not post that post in the event forum
If an event you submitted is approved the event will be posted in the forum automatically under your member name so people can reply and comment on the event.
