...het is een verrassing wat we gaan doen, en je wordt NIET thuisgebracht...*PLONS*
Het moge duidelijk zijn, met nog een maand te gaan begint Groningen warm te draaien voor het grootste early rave evenement van het Noorden, RaveWorld!
Na het rauwe en duistere succes van begin april is nu de beurt aan de liefhebber van de echte classics, de happy hardcore, de early hardcore, early terror, 2000-2006. De mainstage zal gevuld zijn met al het goeds wat house in zijn breedste zin van het woord heeft
voortgebracht, met uiteraard de nadruk op het stevigere ram- en beukwerk.
Sportcentrum Kardinge is een locatie met een verhaal, die teruggaat tot begin jaren 90. En altijd duikt het zwembad weer op. Honderden gabbers tot de middel in het water, en de dj ervoor als een soort Pamela Anderson in Baywatch die de boel gek krijgt.
Dit subtropische zwemparadijs is de perfecte area voor de Happy Hardcore klanken van onder andere Waxweazle, Paul Elstak, Dune, Highlander en wat te denken van Critical Mass die live on stage het zwembad zullen doen klotsen!
Uiteraard is dit niet alles wat RaveWorld te bieden heeft, nee integendeel. Er zullen in totaal 6 areas met muziek worden ingezet, en een 7e area wordt als chillout ingericht. Hier komen de ouderwetse gabberitems aan bod, denk hierbij aan een grote merchandisestand met nieuwe
en oldschoolitems, uiteraard de partypics, de gabberkapper en nog een aantal zaken die we nu nog niet verklappen maar die vroeger met grote regelmaat voorbij kwamen!
