DJ Shimamura is a pioneer of the Japanese hardcore scene,
having set up one of the first Happy Hardcore labels in Japan, DYNASTY RECORDS.
In 2005 and 2007 his remixes for Japanese pop artists achieved record sales
which gained him recognition outside of the hardcore scene,
and this has led him to produce music for the video game industry as well.
During this time he continued releasing vinyl andhas mixed various compilation cds such as 'Dancemania SPEED' and 'TRANCE RAVE' which were all big sellers in Japan.
In December 2007, 2 of his tracks were included on the Nukleuz CD compilation,'Hardcore Adrenalin 3'. One of the tracks, 'Cant Hold Back' (DJ Shimamura Remix) was played on Radio 1 by DJ Kutski and
also featured in Kutski's Top 5 Chart in M8 Magazine.

Weihnachtsfeierkurzurlaub ohne Koffer packen!
Am 26.12. ist Weihnachten eigentlich so gut wie vorbei.
Doch dieses Jahr gibt es in Braunschweig eine Extra-Bescherung in Form eines kleinen, aber dafür extrem intensiven Feierkurzurlaubs.
Wer mitreisen will sollte sich an besagtem Tag, ab 23:00 Uhr in der Meier Music Hall zum Abflug bereit machen.
Zu erleben gibt es ein kosmopolitisches Aufeinandertreffen verschiedener Styles auf einer Main-Area und einem kleinem Floor zum Kuscheln.
Für jede Menge Urlaubslaune sorgen die Shootingstars Technikal aus London, der feinsten Harddance zum Besten gibt und Dj Bluecore aus Göteborg der
mit modernem UK-Hardcore seiner Verantwortung als Animateur mehr als gerecht wird.
Die Kapitänin der Reise wird allerdings Marusha sein, die ihren ersten Gig in Braunschweig hinlegt.
Also eine echte Premiere der alteingesessenen Pionierin elektronischer Musik, die unlängst mit Alben wie Raveland und zahlreichen Singles wie
„Somewhere over the Rainbow“ Musikgeschichte geschrieben hat.
Neben all diesen Sahnehäppchen zum Jahresende runden noch einige Locals, darunter Artists wie die Gehörvorgangresidents Otto & Sambo, mit lässigem
Minimal und Moni B. aus Hannover mit einem eher trancigen Set die elektronische Kurzkreuzfahrt ab.
