Shade0 Firstly if this has been posted before sorry.

But i had a thought.

Annoying for me was when i joined i couldnt have the username Shade, i had to have shade0. Fine.. But the reason is that someone joined back in 02 and hasnt made a single post.

What if, all accounts that have made no posts and been inactive for over a year were just wiped to free up some usernames for people who deserve to use them.

Just a thought

Comet I agree..

djsytronik That seems fair enough to me. I dont actually understand why people join onto a forum, but dont even bother to make one post, it just seems so pointless of filling out the form

silver This has been asked and answered... You dont need to post in order to to be active on the site, alot of people register so they can use other features on the site and still be known under their nicknames.... Sure there are people that have registered and perhaps not coming back but it dont slow the site down.

Yes we have been through this time and time again, Some people like to just view the forum, Some functions/features require you to be a member to be able to use them. I don't mind it to be honest. Anyway it shows a good idea of how big the internet fan base for hardcore is.

mark-ireland Some people may not have the time to post and just like browsing the news and listening to the radio, and adding themselves to events they'e been too.

Shade0 thats fair enough. Just curious is all. Thanks

JesterDJ well how about this for a thought (which if previously mentioned i apologise).

if there is a way to track log in's, those that have not logged in for a period of time have their accounts revoked? (i.e. those that have not logged into the site at all to use the available must presumably not come to the site at all, so delete those accounts?)

Always remember; you are unique, just like everyone else

silver ^^^ Yes, but I dont want to do that, our userbase is also a record of how much we have grown.
